|
Caithness is the northernmost county of the British mainland - some 115 miles north of Inverness. The main road from the south is the A9, which starts at Perth (between Edinburgh and Inverness). There are also good rail and air links into the county (click links above for online route/timetable planners) The
NNCMC Club nights are held at the Royal
British Legion hall in Thurso (click link for streetmap) |

About Caithness Caithness is, without doubt, one of Scotlands hidden treasures. Tagged as the lowlands beyond the Highlands, vast swathes of the county can be seen from its few high points. It has plenty to offer visitors - history harking back to the Vikings, nature in its many guises, and breathtaking scenery all round. Yet it also offers plenty of activities for those who want them. |
